Thank you Grandma Adams!

For Christmas, Grandma Adams(also known as Mom, Great Grandma and Bobbie) hand- stitched these name signs for the younger grand and great grandkids. The girls LOVE them and I just wanted her to know how much we appreciate these gifts. We know this must have been so time consuming and a lot of hard work. Every year, Grandma(and Grandpa) makes sure there is a Christmas gift for each member of the family, which is not an easy task I'm sure! I don't know the total, but its at least a hundred people now! Thank you Grandma-we love you and always appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity!

Families Can Be Together Forever

Kenny's family was sealed for time and all eternity in the Houston Texas Temple this past Saturday, June 9, 2007. We feel so blessed that we were able to be there. It was a very special experience that I know no one will ever forget. Here are a few of the pictures we took that day.

If anybody out there has more pictures from that day, post them too! hoLLy

Cali & her Great Grandma Adams

I wanted to post this pic of Cali and her Great Grandma on the Adams blog too. It was the first time they met. We had a BBQ at Cindy's a couple of weeks ago and it was a nice visit. Just to let you know, we're coming down to Corpus Memorial Day weekend for Cali's blessing which will be Sunday, the 27th. We're going to have it in 3rd ward which I think starts at 11am, so those of you that live in that area are invited to come!(well, everyone is invited, just don't expect people that are far to make it of course.) See you soon! hoLLy & jOeY

What to do with this...

By the way, if you need help creating or linking blogs see the post below this.

The purpose of these blogs is to keep in touch. Use these blogs as a public diary of what goes on in your daily lives. Nothing exciting happening? That's what you think!!! What may seem boring and mundane to you (the weather, what you did this week) is exciting to the rest of us because we're not there!

Don't belive me? Then go read your grandfather's journal, the scriptures, or historical accounts. What may seem ordinary to you lets others see your life through your eyes.

So, don't be afraid to post! That's what makes these interesting. Feel free to leave comments too. We love to see what you think about what has been written.

How to do this...

OK, we've had a few people wondering how to do all this. I will try to explain the best I can here. If it ends up being as clear as mud, e-mail me at brbrown72@sbcglobal.net and I'll try to explain it better.

1) If you want to create your own blog click on the Get Your Own Blog button in the upper right hand corner and follow the prompts.

2) Once you've created your own blog, uploaded some pictures, written a few things and chased the kids into bed...oh, wait, that's us...anyways, once you've done that you'll probably want to add a link to the "main" adams site for your site and vice versa. To do that you'll need to log into www.blogspot.com with your username and password you created for your site or the one for this site? Don't know the one for this site? Then ask Jeanie. If I post it here...well...let's just say that wouldn't be very wise.

3) After you've logged in, click on the blog you want to edit (hint: there's only one underlined!) and click on template. Now, for those of you who don't understand or know HTML this might look like a bunch of garbage. What you are looking for, VERY close to the end of the scroll, is a list of links. They will start with li that is surrounded by <>. Now, I can't "write" it out here the way it is supposed to look because then it would start a list. Anyways, look through there until you find the Google search, or someone else's link if you are on this site. Add your site, like the others, save it (down on the bottom with the "Save" button and then republish the blog.

4) Still can't figure it out? Send me an e-mail with the site address and I'll add it

Hope this helps.

Let's have some fun!!!!

What a great idea...especially for those who know how to do this! and maybe the rest of us can learn some new tricks. We are so fortunate to have the technology to do this. I look forward to hearing from and seeing you all on this site.

Love you all,
Jeanie
